Is it possible for a "to do" list to grow the more you check things off? Seems as though every time I check something off my list, three more things are added. Oh well -
Between getting shots for typhoid and yellow fever, securing a 4 wheel drive vehicle (with several spare tires) for driving in the bush and arranging lodging in places I've never heard of - I find the excitement building. This will be my third trip to Kenya and my first to Tanzania. The majority of the time will be spent visiting Montessori programs and spending time with my Samburu family. I look forward to not being aware of time, wearing the same clothes for days on end and drinking Samburu tea in afternoon. Ahhhhhhh, nothing like hot Samburu tea on a hot day in the middle of the bush of Northern Kenya!
Ten days and counting before my daughter, Summer, and I begin our East African adventure!
